Just a Moment

Schools troubling, for sure. Not that it's unnecessary, but the idea of a summer semester is a horrible one.

I now know that.

I have more of my writings to post, but I don't have my notebook here, so expect a post soon.

Having Fun (Indie Overture)

Verse 1a
This ragged setup keeps falling apart
at the seams, just like a work of art
Two mics, one monitor, this infernal contraption
I'll keep singing and singing until *crash*

Chorus
Indie at it's best, not to judge the rest
quirky text that's self analytical
'tempting steady beat, try to keep it neat
with no production value

Verse 2
I'll keep singing as if it's all planned out
He'll keep strumming until I give a shout
Not Knowing, not believing, not understanding
We'll keep being random until this place goes mad
(oh so mad)

[Chorus]

Verse 3
This song slows down, right at this section
The chorus stuck like a nasty infection
These rhymes are bad, but that's OK
We're just a small indie band anyway

[Chorus]

Verse 1b
This ragged setup keeps falling apart
at the seams, just like a work of art
Two mics, one monitor, this infernal contraption
I'll keep singing and singing for the duration

[Chorus]

STOP [shout stop to cue guitar to stop playing]

Me and My Katamari

I was going to begin playing this [old] game today, but curiously my PSP went missing. It seems whenever I have an actual use for a handheld, it runs off on me. I am glad that my other pieces of technology doesn't do that, it would be quite odd to come home with a brand new copy of Starcraft II and see a bare floor where my PC used to be (only to find it under my bed 2 months later).

Being a poor college student, I wish I could get the new games to try out and share. But then who's going to refresh everyone's memory on the older games? Old games are cheap, and they're still extremely fun to play. Next time you go out with $60 wanting a fresh game, go ahead and buy 2 or 3 good old games. You'll have a great time with them, I promise.

Loco Roco 2

I never did play the first game in this series. I feel like I should have now. Let me just share a short overview.

The beginning of the game shows a mysterious "evil" black shaggy type of character that kills off flowers. A meteor from the "evil" world crashes into the world of Loco Roco, and it's up to you to stave off the infection.

I put evil in quotes because I don't really know the back story of that species. All I know is that they are supposedly evil, and I need to stop them.

The one thing that stands out about the game is the music. It's so wonderfully childish it's amazing. It's not something that's addicting. It's not something that you'll probably hum to, but it is hard to stop listening to the music. Whoever composed the music: bravo.

The game play is definitely unique. I'm really enjoying the beginning of this game. I'm putting it down for now, but when I wake up tomorrow, this game is the first thing on my list to play.

Good, unique game play is always a plus.

So Much Time...

Let's do this right. Let's start again. We will start fresh, knowing that only good things will come. The young will prosper from the transition, and the old will tell the young of the years of famine. The famine of knowledge, the unrightfulness of the author. An author who never worked, never toiled, never put his hands to the task.

The young will grow to be enlightened. They will prosper at the information given by the author. There are not many young who will be given this gift, but it will be enough. When the young grow, they will yield new young which will start the same transition over.

Except this time, the old will tell the young of the intellect gained over the years. They will be able to tell the young all about what the author was thinking, doing, seeing, believing. It's a great outlook in life.

Hopefully I will be able to set my hands to the task of maintaining at least one thing in my life, and hopefully this blog will be it. This is the rebirth of the blog. A blog of randomness, a blog of geekiness, a blog of laughs and sobs. Few will know of this, but as time grows on, more will know.

Murloc out.
